A Walk through the Historic Hotchkiss-Fyler Gardens

Torrington Historical Society is pleased to offer a Zoom program on the history of the grounds and gardens of the Hotchkiss-Fyler House on May 10th at 6:30 p.m. The house, which was completed in 1900, was the home of the Hotchkiss and Fyler families until the last occupant, Gertrude Fyler Hotchkiss, bequeathed the property to the Historical Society. The presentation will trace the evolution of the gardens over the past century and include family photographs, references to archival materials and collection items, and recollections from friends and neighbors.
